Privacy Policy
Effective October 23, 2026
The short version: on the Free plan your work stays in your browser. On the Standard and Full plans your work is also saved in your account so you can use it anywhere. We don't sell your information, we don't run ad trackers, and if you connect your own AI, your key is kept only in your browser and sent only to the AI company you chose, never to us. This policy covers the Pricing Calculator at pricingcalculator.co, run by Folio LLC ("Folio", "we", "us").
Your account
When accounts are on, we keep the details you give us when you sign up: your email address, name, firm name, any referral code you used and any groups you say you belong to (like BGN). We also keep your plan, any add-ons, and a customer ID from our payment processor. We use this to run your account, apply your plan, confirm group membership, pay referral partners their share, and email you about your account. We may use your email to send you news about the calculator. You can unsubscribe any time.
Work saved in your account (Standard and Full plans)
On a paid plan, your firm settings, your clients and what you entered about them (including who referred them, if you track referrals), the documents you uploaded to a client (like transcripts or engagement letters), and saved versions of each client are stored in our database so you can open them on any device. The database is run by Supabase, Inc. on servers in the United States. Each account can only read its own data. We don't look at your client data except when you ask for help, when needed to keep the service running or secure, or when the law requires it.
When you delete a client, it's marked deleted and removed from your account. Saved versions are kept until you delete the client's versions or close your account. To close your account and delete what's stored, email us.
What stays on your device
On the Free plan, or when accounts are off, everything you enter is saved in your browser's local storage on your device and isn't sent to us. Your AI key is always saved only in your browser. Files you download are saved wherever you choose. Files you upload to read (like a transcript, PDF or Word document) are read in your browser. On a paid plan, the text from those files is saved with the client in your account. Call transcripts you review in the Sales Calls add-on are the exception: they're read in your browser and aren't saved to your account or sent to us. Only the scorecard (the score, the counts and any name you type) is saved. When you press an AI button, the text you chose goes from your browser to the AI company you connected, under that company's terms.
You can erase what's in your browser at any time from My Firm, or by clearing your browser's site data for this site.
What else we receive
- Standard web request information. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare handles basic request information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't add analytics, ad trackers or tracking pixels to the calculator.
- Ideas, problems and feedback you send. If you use Suggest a Feature while signed in, your idea, your email address and the tab you were on are saved so we can read it. If you rate a recommendation on the Recommend tab while signed in, we save your answers, your email address, how many suggestions it made and how many you applied, and which kinds of documents you added (not the documents or anything in them). If you're not signed in, or you use Report a Problem, your own email app opens and we only get what you choose to send. Please don't include client files or client names.
- Intake forms sent through Zapier (Full plan). If you turn on your private Zapier link, the form answers your Zap sends are stored in your account until the calculator turns them into prospects, then removed 30 days later. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy of the link's secret, never the link itself. Zapier is a separate service with its own privacy policy.
- Security check on sign-in. The sign-in, sign-up and password reset forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots. Cloudflare looks at signals from your browser to tell people from bots, without cookies for advertising. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers what it collects.
- Admin email summaries. Our admin gets a daily email when something needs attention (like a request to join a group) and a weekly summary. These can include your name, email address, plan, group requests and the feedback you sent. They're sent through our email provider, Resend, Inc., only to our admin.
- Scholarship applications. If you apply for a scholarship, your answers, the plan you asked for and your name, firm and email are saved with your account. Only admins who review scholarships can read them, along with their notes and the decision. They're kept so we have a record of what was awarded and why. To have yours deleted, email us.
- Backups. A full copy of the account data described here is saved every week, and when our admin makes one, to private storage with our account provider (Supabase). Only our super admin can open them. The newest 12 are kept and older ones are deleted. A backup can hold your data for up to about three months after you delete it.
- Account security. If you turn on two-step sign-in, our account provider (Supabase) stores the secret your authenticator app uses, so it can check your codes. Admins can see when you last signed in, whether two-step sign-in is on, and how many clients you've saved (not what's in them). Every change an admin makes to an account, including canceling a subscription or removing access, is recorded in an audit log with the admin's email and the time.
- Member Hub (BGN and All Stars members). If you choose to share your pricing benchmarks, we save your hourly rate, minimum, typical monthly fee and number of clients. Other members only ever see group ranges, and only once at least 5 members have shared, never your own numbers. Task libraries you share and posts you make on the referral board are shown to other members with your name and firm. You can stop sharing or delete them any time.
- Payment information. Payments go through our payment processor's checkout page (Stripe or a similar company). It handles your card details under its own privacy policy. Your processor may ask for your billing address to work out sales tax. We receive whether you paid, which plan, and a customer ID, not your card number or address.
Other services your browser talks to
To work, the calculator loads a few things from other companies. When it does, those companies receive standard request information like your IP address:
- Cloudflare Turnstile, the check on the sign-up and sign-in pages that tells people from bots. The fonts, the account tools and the tools that read Word and PDF files are all served from our own site.
- Supabase, when accounts are on, to sign you in and save your work.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, on our public website pages only, never inside the calculator. It counts page views and where visits come from. It doesn't use cookies or your browser's storage, and it doesn't follow you across sites or build a profile of you.
- The AI company you connect, only if you add your own key and press an AI button. The text you chose to send goes straight from your browser to that company (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Meta, or the service you set up) under your own account and its privacy policy. It doesn't pass through us.
- Calendar services, only if you press an Add to calendar button. Google Calendar and Outlook open in a new tab with the reminder's title and date (which includes the client's business name) filled in. The .ics option saves a file on your device instead.
Cookies and local storage
The calculator uses your browser's local storage to save your work and, when accounts are on, to keep you signed in. If the site uses an access code, entering it saves a small cookie so you don't have to enter it every time. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Selling or sharing
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named above to run the calculator, with a referral partner (they see that you signed up with their code and which plan you're on, not your clients), if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or with a company that takes over Folio's business, under this same policy.
How long we keep things
We keep account information and work saved in your account while your account is open. When you close it, we delete it within 30 days, except billing records we must keep for taxes. We keep support emails and ideas as long as needed to help you and keep a record of fixes. Cloudflare, Supabase and the payment processor keep their own logs according to their own policies.
Your choices and rights
You can view, change, download or erase your work from inside the calculator. To get a copy of what's in your account, correct it or delete it, or you have questions about your rights under the privacy laws where you live, email [email protected].
Children
The calculator is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Account data is stored by Supabase with access rules that let each account see only its own data. Anyone who can use your device and browser can see work saved there, and anyone with your password can see your account. Use a strong password, lock your device, sign out on shared computers, and don't use the calculator on a public computer for real client work. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the calculator handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
